I have done a recovery reset to factory settings. After that I have answered many questions on the screen before starting the operating system, which should be Nougat. Then the screen freezes and I get an error message: "Ignite UI does not answer. Close app or wait". I have tried both alternatives. Nothing happens. I have tried another hard reset to factory settings without luck. What should I do?
The phone was NOT malfunctioning before. I did a mistake by disabling Gboard assuming there would be a simpler keyboard built into the system. When one starts the phone it is not possible to type in the password, which is natural if there is only one keyboard.
I could not find an open WiFi without passwords or check boxes the phone could connect to. That would have been a possibility to load the keyboard on the phone via a computer and a Google account.
So, I resorted to the reset, which worked until the normal phone GUI of Android should be seen. Then the screen freezes, see first paragraph above.
