Moto e4 SD Card formatted for internal storage doesn't show the memory available

I have a Moto e4 with a 64gig SD Card. I formatted it as internal storage. My file browser still shows 2.79GB / 10GB, which is only the internal memory minus OS/Apps.

I tried to copy about 7.5gig of files to the phone using the PC usb and it said it ran out of room, so it's definitely not seeing the extra space.

Under settings / storage it shows 14.20 GB used out of 80 GB so it sees it there.

What is going on???

The same thing happens on my z2 play. I think it's a limitation of the app. The system obviously sees the additional storage but the app doesn't recognize it

Have you tried a reboot? I've always had mine show up so not sure.
