I first read about this on the Moto moderated Edge+ forum. Some people are experiencing a green haze/blotchy screen issue. A software update was pushed last week but hasn't worked for my screen that developed after the update. Unless/until this issue is resolved, I would STAY AWAY from this phone which is really too bad. Hopefully a fix can happen. Otherwise the phone is toast.

Shipped it back yesterday and supposed to get a replacement tomorrow. That's really good service. Hopefully this one will have no issues.

I had a display problem that was similar but involved gray "smudges" and the screen developed a greenish cast. Verizon replaced it in two days without issue. Screen capture didn't show it so I took a pic with my wife's phone. Hmmm... not seeing the attachment icon...

I have a theory that the recent update was designed to lower the heat that may impact the screen. After the update my first phone didn't get as hot during charging and used less RAM and that's true for the second as well. I don't know if it might be improved efficiency or some type of throttling.

I also suspected that when I read some of the threads. Do you live in a hot weather area? (I noticed your desktop screenshots indicate 87 degrees F outside temp.) I haven't experienced these issues on my edge+ here in Seattle, but we haven't hit higher than upper 70s lately. I also rarely feel my edge+ running hot, before or after update.

It's mostly been inside where we keep the house cool for our dogs. Taking several photos or using video will raise the temperature like any phone. But I've particularly noticed in charging it's not going quite as high.
