Is anyone aware of a release date for the 2015 model..... and if so, what if any upgrades will there be.
Thanks for the response.

I'm interested to know too...

And me!

Still with the 1st gen as didn't see the point of moving up to the 2nd unless they were going to include a significantly larger battery.

I had been looking at moving further up the food chain a few months ago but health issues rather killed my interest. Still love what I have though (apart from Lollipop.... GRRR!!!), but I'm really looking forward to what they have to offer with - hopefully - a more worthwhile upgrade.

I'm still using the Atrix 2, not THAT unhappy with it but am looking for something with a little faster clock time.
If I could justify a moto x second gen. then i would really have to look at the Seygus V2. (squared). Been waiting for it to hit, have some run time and then read reviews. The moto g is not in the same league, but it offers so much at a reasonable price.
Thanks for the response.

Here's some info about the Moto G (3rd Gen) in India: Flipkart lists third-generation Motorola Moto G

The rumoured specs are quite impressive

Rumored specs include a 5-inch or 5.2-inch display carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The 64-bit Snapdragon 610 SoC is rumored to be under the hood, and it includes a quad-core 1.7GHz CPU and the Adreno 405 GPU. 2GB of RAM is said to be inside and there should be support for 4G LTE connectivity.

I'm contemplating whether to stick to 2nd gen or return it and go for the 3rd gen model... Advice?

Second gen LTE has 2 GB RAM?

Sent from my Moto G 2nd Gen using Tapatalk

no the 3rd gen is rumored to have 2gb ram and a s610. he was saying the lte, s410 model was the 3rd gen, it isn't even announced yet. he must mean the 2nd gen model that came out recently with lte and a s410. i was correcting him.

Anyone got any info on this device . Is it vaporware or real?? Release dates etc..

I'm on first gen.. When i first bought it I said to myself I could probably use this phone for 10 years. Anything that needs good specs to run could be played on my tablet which I would update a lot.

But it lack features like gyroscope, its a qualcomm chipset that are missing features you would expect on 2014 qualcomm chips.

The dual-sim feature is great. So far its saved me about $150 in calls at minimal hassle. The G2 only had minor changes so I decided against upgrading to it.
