Moto G 4 gen phone unable to unlock screen after pausing.

When phone had been off,I can start it up, swipe up and get number screen to unlock phone and use as normal. If I pause or screen times out, when I swipe to open I can not get number screen to appear or it comes as a overlay to notifications, and add numbers in my unlock code as I press numbers it will add numbers on own,the screen will bounce between high zoom and normal. It resists being powered Off. Is this repairable?
