Moto G - Best Buy or Verizon Store

Anyone know if there's a difference between buying the phone in the USA at Best Buy or Verizon? I've seen some unboxing videos and some come with the USB cable only and others with a wall charger. For those who bought the phone at a Verizon store was it possible to buy just the phone alone without the $60 prepaid card activation, I know it cant be done online?
