Moto G vs. Galaxy S3

So my wife's contract is up on her phone this month and she's looooooooong overdue for an upgrade. She currently has a Galaxy S3 and after looking a bit decided that she likes the looks of the Moto G 2015. As I look at the specs though, and maybe I'm just totally looking in the wrong places, it looks like the specs on the S3 are better. The processor seems, better, RAM on multiple spec sites show better available ram on the S3...Even just looking up the processors and doing a comparison shows that the samsung processor should be better. I know I'm missing something....but I'd hate to buy her a phone that is a step backwards....She's not interested in the other moto x phones due to the size of the screen.

Nevermind, just realized it was pulling the specs for moto g 2014......problem solved.
