Moto g4 major problems

I recently bought a Moto g4 from best buy unlocked and activated it at Verizon. This phone has so many problems I won't name them all but heres a few that there is no support for:

In system UI tuner I have put hotspot in quick setting but It doesnt show up at all

When I turn my phone completely off there is a SD card icon in notification bar

Sometimes when I try to click on something it randomly clicks somewhere else on the screen multiple times

In the settings menu when you click on display and scroll down you should see an ambient display toggle switch. That is completely missing.

This came with Google now launcher, no android home screen. Also came stock with Google messenger, lacking any sort of Android software.

If you need screenshots, just ask. Any help is needed, thanks!

For me, hotspot showed up in the quick settings after the first time I enabled it.

I also don't have an ambient display toggle switch. As far as your glitches, you may want to consider a factory reset. Mine, also bought at Best Buy, came with the Google launcher and a couple of others Google apps installed. Many, which I would have expected to be preinstalled, I had to install from the Play Store myself.

SD icon during shutdown happens with mine also. It is a feature of Marshmallow to let u known that the card is being unmounted.

What happens if you delete something else in the Quick Settings first, then add the hotspot? Do the Quick Settings reflect both the deleted toggle and the new hotspot toggle? Or does it look like none of the changes took effect?

Do you have a screen protector or case on? Does this happen only while charging, or also when unplugged?

What do you mean by "android home screen"? It sounds like the Google Now Launcher is the Moto G4's stock launcher--that is its homescreen. If you want something more customizable, consider Nova Launcher.

Are you looking for the stock AOSP-like apps, like a stock Messaging app, stock Gallery app, etc.? Some manufacturers like Moto/Lenovo have opted to stick with Google's apps as their stock apps. Other manufacturers do this to some degree as well--for example, Samsung typically has only Chrome as the stock browser, instead of the old Samsung "Internet" browser.

Thanks for all the help guys, too much here to quote it all as I have limited time currently. I have messed with the quick setting and still no hope as far as the hotspot icon :/

I would try a reset or have the phone replaced. Sounds like you received a defect. I am on Verizon too and cannot get a 4G LTE connection. Are you having the same problem? Thanks
