Moto g4+ Not turbo charging

Using a Motorola charger which works perfectly with another g4+ mine phone will not go into turbo mode. Tried this from 0% to 60% charge, always the same result slow charging mode. Has anyone found a cure for this? Motorola want me to send a 2 week old phone to Germany for fix (their expense, but no timescale) I say send me a phone that works as specified, it is what I paid for.

Ha anyone found a solution to the turbo issue.?

I have had it happen once, but it was because the USB cable wasn't plugged fully into the Turbo Charger.

Now in possession of replacement phone, which works as it should, it took 3 weeks from returning the faulty phone to getting the replacement. Fortunately Motorola were very kind and allowed me to spec the phone to 4gb ram and 64gb storage.
