moto g5 plus attaching photo to text msg?

I am just now learning how to use my G5 Plus and when I attach a photo to a text message I am sending, the person I send it to doesn't receive the photo with my phone number attached but instead it goes through with a designation of 233-xx instead. How can I attach a photo to my text that will go through designated as coming from me / my cell phone number instead of some weird set of numbers? Thanks.

Or is it supposed to go through with that 233 number? By the way, the person I am sending the photo attached to my text message to uses an iPhone. Would that be the reason or make any difference?

So why does it go through with that 333 designation instead of my phone number? They do get the photo I'm sending but it doesn't have my phone number attached.

Check your APN settings with your carrier. Sounds more like a carrier issue than an issue with the phone.
