Moto G5 Plus keeps freezing and unexpectedly restarting

Hello group!



Lately I've been having problems with my smartphone. It would randomly and suddenly freeze and become unresponsive. The only solution for me to be able to use my phone again is to force it to restart. When I charge my phone over the night, it turns itself off and I wake up to a dead phone.



I've already booted the phone in "safe mode" to check if one of the apps is causing the issue and also done "Factory Reset", but the issue persists. Has anyone else had this problem? And what did you do to solve it? Is this a hardware issue?

I've had the phone for 2 years. I'd rather not have to buy a new one :/

That kind of sounds like a failing battery, those are classic signs of a dying battery. Same things started happening to my friends Moto G6 a fee months ago and several factory resets didn't help.

That doesn't sound good. Any way to work around it or do I simply have to get it fixed? Here in Norway we have a five year "warranty" for things like this, so I might be able to get it covered.

It happened in Safe Mode as well. So I guess it is safe to say that it's not a third-party app causing it.

That's correct. Unfortunately, it does sound like you either need to take it to a repair shop or look into getting a new phone. Sorry!

Hey group! Just wanted to let you know that my phone is now working perfectly again. I was advised to download and use "LMSA Rescue and Smart Assistant." After using it, my works seems completely fixed! Thought I should let you know if anyone should stumple upon the same problem.
