I would like to follow-up on your recent contact with us regarding the software availability of your Moto G7 Power. At the moment we do not have information as to when a new security update or software update will be launched for this device.
As we care about all our products alike, we aim to make the update experience as smooth as possible for you. We test and tailor all updates before release, crosscheck compatibility with 3rd party applications, and carefully listen to you and millions of other Motorola owners. Therefore, updates are released only after we are sure that you will be able to enjoy all new features and functionalities on your phone.
The release date is sometimes dependent on carriers and other key partners. Certifications, independent testing, or requests for additional changes will sometimes extend our evaluation time. Therefore, you will sometimes see an upgrade for a device model go to one group of users, while it may take significantly longer to reach others, even in the same region.
Please note, not all our devices will be compatible with the latest software. When we know that a specific device will be upgraded we post this on Motorola’s software updates page:

Once all the final testing has been completed and the software is ready, your phone will notify you; giving you the option to download and install the new software. However, if the update has been released but you are still unable to download and install it, please let me know so that I can fix this for you.
