Hmm...curious to know how the rooted users feel about this.

not too worried. i have a warranty and insurance and if i break the software ill take responsibility. but if the hardware fails, i might be in for a fight.

It might make me give a second thought about buying a Motorola in the future, but I'm not worried too much about it since I'm going to have to pay full price in the future to keep my unlimited data plan... and paying full price for my next device is a bigger concern as far as I'm concerned.

i second that... besides if i pay full price, i should be given more leeway when something goes wrong. wont happen but i can dream.
