Moto X 2014 How much space for "stuff" with 16GB

How much free space before apps etc on 16g? I have 8gb now with 1gb free.

My original Moto X is 32gb. It's actually only 26gb of available space after the OS. I currently have 9gb available, which means I am using 17gb. I am a big cloud user and don't feel as though I have a ton of stuff stored on my phone. So, I say that 32 gb is a must. It's only $50 more as well.

My wife's G3 is 32 gb as well. I am not sure how much available space she has but I know she has literally thousands and thousands of more pictures on her phone than I do. 16gb just isn't a realistic option anymore for most people, even cloud users like myself.

With the M7 I only got about 9.8gigs free. Its a 32gig model. I expecting about the same however some of mine is music. About 8gigs worth!

All I know is I have the original moto x in the 16GB and am constantly deleting apps to make room. Won't settle for less than 32Gb on my new one

Apparently from the AC review the AT&T version have only 10.17gb of user space :/. Probably a little more with the pure version.
