After seeing the specs on the droid turbo my mouth was watering! WOW! Hopefully it is the sum of all the parts and a great experience for you. Of course not droid for me since I am ATT. Enjoy that beast!

Won't the phone be sim unlocked like all Verizon phones are now? I'm pretty sure we will be able to use this on AT&T

Yeah I knew that, but you did not address how android OEM cannot match apple in this areas and why they keep the pixel wars going with increasing MP but not really better pictures...

Apple made a conscious effort to spend the time and SIGNIFICANT amount of money needed to licence the technology and hire whole departments. There's a reason Apple phones are $200+more expensive than their competitors.

Ummm, I don't think the camera has much, if anything, to do with their pricing. Check their advertising budget.

For everyone wondering, there is a droid turbo variant for AT&T and Tmobile bands that just floated through FCC docs. So it seems like they will be coming out with similar to droid turbo specs for at&t and T-mobile with a different name. Or it may be Unlocked version with same specs called moto maxx or something. But it does exist.

I really am impressed with the camera on this phone. Takes great pictures to me. This is am outside and inside shot. Both before the update.

What update? I have the Verizon version and didn't see any camera update in google play or anywhere else.

Search the play store for Moto camera. My Verizon phone didn't auto update or queue.

I'm also having an intermittent issue now where the phone stays blurry and won't focus out of it. Going to the gallery and coming back fixes the issue. Happy with the pics though but still not great indoors.

Thanks, that worked. But you shouldn't have to go through the trouble of searching the GP store for the camera update. That's ridiculous.

Lol, you guys are awesome! So basically you were incensed with Sense so you unSensed it?

Me and my lady are still on Razr M's and since I don't have the brains or energy for rooting we are suffering through the botched Verizon KK ota update that has totally crippled these previously awesome little phones

My wife has a charger planted at literally every location she goes just to make it through the day... I've had 4 CLNR replacements and done more FDRs than I care to count, but I can't do it anymore so I ordered the new Moto X.

However, it's taking almost a month for them to make the custom X so I have since changed my mind and I'm gonna go with the @DroidTurbo bc I'm tired of charging my phones midday.

Well, I saw a few posts in which a device passed through the FCC which was very similar to the Droid Turbo and AT&T and TMO bands! With a few days left on my Moto X return period, I pulled the trigger on a return.

My Nexus 5 can fill in as my android device until a possible unlocked version of the Droid turbo comes out or if not a 64GB version of the Moto X 2nd Gen.

The update that came through was just to add features for the Moto 360 and some "bug fixes." It's not a performance update like the one released for the OG X that made such an improvement for that model.
