Moto X (2014) or Moto - Moto X (2014) or Moto G (2015)?

Motorola is going to have the Moto X 2014 on sale for $299. I was thinking of the Moto G. Do you, as a Moto X 2014 owner, think the 2014 Moto X is a better choice?
Keep in mind, camera & games are not important to me.

I don't know much about the moto g but I really like my 2014 moto x.
I think the build quality is better on the moto x. I also think the snapdragon 801 in the moto x would out perform the snapdragon 410 in the moto g.

I don't know, man, I'm all over the map. I'll keep going with the Pure Edition for a couple more days. I took the tempered glass screen protector off, let's see what that does for the phone's temperature.

I'd probably go with the 2015 moto g for the battery life and microSD.

Hey there, since you showed an interest, I decided on the Nexus 5X. Seems a balance of price performance. Plus, I like that Google microfiber case. If I was more flush I would have gone with the Nexus 6P, but, hey, rent's due this week, haha.
