Moto X 2014 Scratch prevention

Since I'm not sold on any one specific case yet, I'm left in limbo worrying about how to put my phone down on a table. Are you all also worried about scratching the face or the camera on this phone?

I believe it's slightly recessed, not flush.

I am using a bumper on mine. I'm still looking for a bumper I like better since this one feels great and doesn't add bulk but it's frosted on the back. Dang.

I wouldn't really call it a bumper case unless it did have an open back.

Motorola design is intelligent. In the Moto X 2013, the top and bottom chin of the phone is raised a bit to lift the display off a flat surface.This time the glass is curved, but the two speaker grills are raised higher than the display, so you can put the phone face down. If you are worried, get a bumper case for it.
