Moto x buttons bar transparency?

Is there a way to make the bottom buttons black bar transparent ? Feels like it takes up screen estate

What benefit would it give you? You would still be completely unable to interact with whatever was down there because you'd have the buttons in the way.

The only thing that I would see coming from a transparent bar would be making interacting and navigating with the phone more difficult.

Just realize that the on-screen buttons really don't affect anything you do.

The pictures on your phone don't display as if they're 4.7" pictures, rather it truly is just like having a 4.5" screen phone with capacitive buttons, which is very good still, but just takes a slight frame of mind change.
