So i know Google just came out with updates to their G+ photo tech, also Snapseed (finally back?) and the Nik Collection. But when you actually use the Google+ Editing this can happen:

Now this is fantastic! Bravo Google.. BROVO!

..and we're getting all of these updates without needing to update to a new version of Android.

Just saying.

wait you used g+ to edit those photos?

Some of the filters and editing from snapseed is built into the g+ photo editor on the g+ website.

OP did you use that or the built in editor from the g+ mobile app? Those are great.

It was edited from the Google+ website.
Same editing tools as the snapseed app.

And these are the originals

That first pic with the SUV is really something else. I noticed the range of editing on the Moto X's gallery isn't as wide as the HTC One X's but the effects comes out better.

Download the new Google photos app. Has every editing tool that g+ has.. So it'll be more extensive then htcs. Also I think it'll be replacing the default gallery. I like it better since its more organized and flows a bit better.

This photo was originally taken with the HTC One X a few months ago, thought I'd adjust it with the new Google photos tool and wow it sharpens it up quite a bit and looks like a picture you could put up on the wall.

It's amazing what you can do to a pic in the Google+ app now. Limitless really.

BTW this is purely from the phone using the phone editing

Yeah, both the phone and online editing features are great. I actually love Snapseed...if I want a pic to look great once I've taken it, I'll just throw it into Snapseed on my phone and do a few quick edits. The pics in this thread are certainly an extreme example of HDR etc haha

TOTALLY overdone editing:

I'm a total noob when it comes to photo editing. What effects or filters are you using on these photos?

It's really endless what you can do with the photo editing tools. You have to just about stop yourself and say enough...

So this is all done from your phone with the photos app huh? Really cool! My wife liked my moto X so much she just upgraded her phone to a new moto X lol.

Been playing with the camera a bit more, once you turn on HDR and enable tap to focus, pictures certainly look significantly better and sharp.

I'm a tad annoyed at Jerry's camera comparison on the Nexus 5 vs Moto X article on the front page, my photos look nothing like the blurry Moto X HDR sample he posted.
