Moto X - Delete USB Folders

I connected a Flash Drive to my phone to see how it worked. It created several Folders and Sub Folders. I'm assuming that these were the Folders that were on the Flash Drive, but when I open them they're empty. So, I tried to delete them using the ASTRO instructions, as I have many times, but it won't delete them. The Delete Icon appears, the working symbol appears, but it never stops turning. I've left it for an hour with no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
