Moto X - Phone keeps vibrating Google Hangouts notifications

Is there a way to turn off the vibration notifications? I have the Vibrate check box in the app itself unchecked, and it's unchecked in my active notifications as well. Is this a problem for anyone else? I'm at work and it's pretty annoying having my phone vibrate every 2-3 minutes.

Did you ever find a solution ? Mine does the same thing and its pretty dam annoyin.

Have you tried clearing the app cache, uninstalling, then reinstalling Hangouts?
