Moto X: problems with pics in text

im having a lil trouble with pics in text msg. it wont show or wont load when i click on it. mostly happens on the ones i send. any ideas

I had the problem as well. Couldnt get a straight answer to fix it so I started using a different sms app. (textra, go sms, handcent, etc...)

Me to. I started using handcent, and no problem since.

This has been a problem since the moto x first came out (at least for me). I believe the kit Kat update change log says it was supposed to fix this but obviously it didn't. Kinda annoying in 2014...can't even get MMS working correctly?

I've actually have had a couple of pic messages not send. I've never had this problem with my previous devices. Not sure if its the phone or service (Verizon).

Hope all of you understand that MMS is only possible when Hangouts is set as your default messaging app?

I dunno. I use the default messaging app and I've sent and received pictures with it.

Which app are you using? I don't have blocking issues with pics displaying from MMS.

Have you been able to attach/send a video with it?

Hmm... No, I don't think I've ever tried to send video by text message. It's just never occurred to me that that's a good way to share a video. A link to a video, sure, but never a video.
