Moto X Pure Gallery Widget..

Is everyone else's gallery widget a tiny thumbnail picture? On my Note 4 and G2 there was a stock widget that had a photo frame that could be resized to whatever size I like. Is this a bug? Or is the Moto X gallery widget supposed to be so small of a photo?

Seems to be fixed size [2x2]

Yeah but its a 2x2 widget and the actual pic is 1x1. So none of my widgets are anywhere close to the actual photo. If that makes any sense. Not sure if its just mine or everyone's.

Got you. When I assign a picture or pictures to the widget, the result is a very narrow white frame around a picture almost the full size of the 2 by 2 widget size. As far as I can tell, it seems to be a crop of the center of the actual picture. It must surely a tiny copy of the entire picture.
