Is it just my phone, or does the Moto X seem to have a rather loud vibrate? It seems like the vibration sound is louder than the vibrate feeling itself.

I thought the same thing too when i got my 2013 X. If Moto didn't change the physical mechanism, then it's probably the same.

My Moto X (2014) vibrates pretty loud as well. In fact, it is so loud that I can put it on another table about 10 feet from where I sit and still hear it. Almost no point to turn on the sound. :)

I have the 2013 Moto X, and I left it on my financial planner's desk when I used the restroom. She noticed it vibrating and told me about it when I came back.

I know this topic seems to be about the loudness of the vibration, but I've gotta say that I've always thought that the actual vibration isn't particularly strong. Sometimes I don't feel it vibrate when its in my pocket. Always felt my previous phone vibrate.

If it's quiet when it goes off, then it's loud... if it's not so quiet when it goes off it's just right IMHO. It all depends on your perspective and the surrounding circumstances.

Yeah that's how mine is also!
