Moto x won't connect to cellular data

I was out golfing today ..(don't ask how I did) anyway I went to use Golfpad and later in the day I tried my Morecast program and both said I didn't have a connection ...can't figure it out ...I'm missing something

Did you try turning on airplane mode and then turning it off? Sometimes that will reestablish the mobile data connection.

You might just be in an area where there isn't any cellular coverage. Do you see "no service" or edge?

I had service ... was just wondering if it was the programs themselves maybe ... thanks for the quick reply!

Can other apps connect through mobile data? If the problem happens with only those two apps check for any restriction in their own settings. Also, make sure in settings - data usage that 'restrict background data' is unchecked for them.
