Moto z battery drain after android watch pairing

A

AC Question

So this may seem simple, but Im not sure it is. (of course im a dullard, so it may be).
My battery life was fine on my moto z for a few months, until i tried out a couple android watches. Since then the battery life is a half day with roughly the same use.

THe battery app thing shows normal screen, standby etc... I deleted the bluetooth devices that were the watches.

Any idea where I may look? i love this phone, but its killing me.
thank you

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify -- is the battery drain persisting after unpairing/forgetting the Android Wear devices? Did you also uninstall the Android Wear app?

It may help to see some battery stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).
