Moto Z force Ford Sync issues

Hello All,

Just wondering if there is a trick to get Ford Sync to download my contacts. When I had a samsung I had to make sure the contacts were on my phone and not the cloud. I have everything on my phone (I think) but no dice on downloading the info. It does say Phone-Cloud with the word phone underneath it in the description of my contacts to show. Am I doing something wrong or am I just getting confused somehow with the difference in terminology?
