Moto Z Play to Force upgrade, is it worth it?

I have the Play and I am considering upgrading to the Force, I would like the better camera and specs. Anybody else upgraded? Is there a big difference? Battery? Thanks for your input!

I have a Z Force and my wife has a Z Play. Other than the shatter shield screen on the Force, there not much of an "upgrade" in my opinion. Her phone gets better battery life than mine and we both feel like her camera takes better pictures (maybe because she is a photographer). They are both great phones, but shatter shield is the only major difference in my opinion, regardless of what specs on paper list.

My Force takes much better photos than my wife's Play. But I am envious of the battery life of the Play.

I have both the Force and the Play. The Force takes​ much better photos, has a more premium feel, and is ever so slightly faster. The Play, on the other hand, gets literally double the battery life (11 hours SOT on the Play to 5.5 on the Force).

May want to wait for the Play 2, which comes out in July. There will be a new set of Moto phones out later this summer as well.

Thank you all for your input! I purchased the Force and I am trying it out. I have not gotten rid of the Play just yet, We shall see how it goes!

I'm fascinated to find out that they play gets better battery life than the force. I though the force had a bigger battery and that they were running nearly identical builds

The Force has a lot more horsepower under the hood.
