Maaaaan.. I havent used my Backflip in a few weeks.. last time I powered it off, it worked fine.

2.1 comes out and I'm all pumped to install it.. I go to turn it on..nothing. Plug it in, green LED comes on, boot logo comes on...annnnd reboot loop.

I cant get the phone to turn on via battery, and when I plug it in, it reboot loops..

Tried all combo's of SIM out, SIM in, SD out, SD in, battery cover off, on.. tried unplugging as it's booting and it just instantly powers off..

and click root.

So, are some new news about official Android 2.1 from motorola for ours backflip?
I browsed motorola page all day to find out if the new rom is ready to download it but NO, it still under testing.

tried it and worked perfectly i have only had my backflip a few weeks b4 i got the update but since then i have been playing my new favorite game Angry Birds non stop

I don't like how the browser exits with a home screen tap. I always have my browser open like saving tabs in Firefox. Also, what is the need for an on-screen lock when the menu button works just fine.

As excited as I was for 2.1 for my Backflip, I may wait to hear from users' hands-on experiences.

What browser are you using? I haven't had any problems with that for any browser I've used (Dolphin, Opera)

Just the standard browser. But this is based on what others have said. I've not upgraded just yet. Is it really worth going to 2.1?

Oh yes it is worth it. My lady loves her phone all over again. She was wanting to get rid of it till i updated it for her.
