Motorola charger on galxy

I just recently upgraded my phone from a Droid Razr to the Galaxy s5. I noticed that my car charger for the razr fits in one of the charging ports in the galaxy. Will my Motorola charger charge my galaxy? Will the Motorola charger harm the glaxy because it only fits in one of the ports?

as long as it fits and it's microUSB you should be fine. they are all using the same standard (microUSB) however your charging times may slightly differ from charger to charger.
