Some differences between the North American models and Rest of the World.

I just don't understand Lenovo. How is this phone supposed to be different from the Moto C Plus?
What sense does it make to have two different phones with identical specs and prices.

Which specs are the same?

The C Plus starts at €119 whole the new E starts at €149.

5" but with big bezels. 144mm*72mm, screen to body ratio 66%.
Need a smaller 4.5" budget phone, same size as original Moto G.

Sub 5" isn't really market reality in 2017.

Does anyone know if the E4 or E4 Plus will come with Moto Display on the European model? Or will it have a notification LED?
Thanks!

It is. IPhone SE and 4.7 in iPhone sell pretty well. Its just that they decided people don't want normal size phone anymore. So now the only option is a big phone (5") or huge phone (5.5").
Its not market reality, it was forced on us. I don't think customers wanted removal of 3.5mm jack, smaller batteries, super thin phones, etc. They decided we needed all that.

That's one phone. What else is there?

One of the reasons that I recently bought an iPhone SE; but it would have been nice to have a greater choice of small, high-quality Android phones - currently, about one - and ditto Windows Phones - currently, about zero. I might still have chosen the iPhone, but as things are, there's hardly any choice in it.

Yeah the day of having choices with Android are over since last 2-3 years.
All phones are almost the same, no uniqueness anymore.

^ Since Moto are already making larger phones, I don't see much point in this latest version of the E. I sometimes use the delightful 4.3" Moto E, the original, the Condor. :) Increase the storage and make a few other changes and you'd have a better successor in my opinion. There was no need to go to 4.5", 5" and now also 5.5". The G series already does those sizes.

Yeah I've been using the 4.3" Moto E since 2.5 yrs as my primary phone, its great if slightly too big for my small hands.
They should have kept the same size and added the internals of the E4.

Would like to see smaller device choices. So tired of toting around big phones. My MXPE has been stored for months. Even my HTC 10 seems to big and weighty. Currently using an iphone7 and best feature is size, light weight and battery life, but heck, its Apple. My old HTC M7 was perfect size. This new entry moto offering is certainly priced right. And a removable battery! What everyone is clamoring for. I wonder how the 2 gig of RAM will hold up tho, seems kind of low.
