Motorola 'Shadow' is actually the Xtreme?

Gizmodo has it on good authority that the device formerly known as the Motorola Shadow is in fact the Motorola Droid Xtreme. The Shadow name is apparently attached to the Droid refresh and NOT to the new handset.

Yep that's been known for awhile the shadow/xtreme are the same phone but that phone us not the Droid 2 the shadow/xtreme is the mb810 the Droid 2 is the a955

Not according to their information. And they're hearing it from multiple sources, all of which say the same thing.

Well lets say it like this on this subject they have been wrong quite a bit and as of now they haven't gotten much right

Look at the pictures from the Verizon system. The "Droid 2" is listed as model #A955. The current Droid is A855. The other phone (the Shadow) is MB810.

has anyone notice that the phone from motorola that start out with mb are moto blur phones while that A are stock android? just noticed it and though that i point that out if no one knew

MotoBlur completely ruined this phone for me. The specs are pretty good I was really looking foward to this phone until I found out it has that stupid UI on it. Looks like The Droid2 is in my future then and I am either going to have to sell my Droid or my Incredible for it.... hhhmmmmm what to do what to do............

Hold off prior to reserving judgment on blur it's supposed to be a different version. And it may not have blur

It is NOT the Blur everyone knows, so don't discount it yet.
