mount to mac

just got a att note and got home trying to mount it to my mac laptop. Now my mac is rooted and have a tmobile radio so I can get tmobile 4g. I am use to android but this is getting frustrating. I use to connect the phone via usb and then see the hard drive of the phone on the desktop but now nothing am I doing something wrong.

I have degbug on and the phone show that it is connect via usb. I go and click on it to try to mount but nothing Please help out.

Did you mean that my phone is rooted? And if it is did you do it via a mac? And if you did which programs did you use?
