Move photo to SD card

I am trying to learn how to move photos from my device to a SD card. I am trying with the SD Card app and tried to follow their instructions, but when I tell it to share the file with SD, the only options I see are to Copy or Move to the "emulated" storage and it does not give me the option to move to the sd card. I don't know what I am missing and would like to have some guidance. Thanks!

Use My Files. Go to All. Go to Device. Find the picture, long press it, press the menu (lower left next to the Home button), copy. You can mark more than 1 file before you copy - just tap the rest. Back out to the first screen, choose All, choose the SD card, go to the place on the card that you want to move the pictures. On the top bar of My Files, on the right, it says "Paste". Tap that. Wait until it's finished.

If anything goes wrong, you copied, you didn't move, so you still have the originals where they were.

If everything went right, go back to the originals, select them again and delete (garbage can at the upper right).
