Moved to T-Mobile from Sprint, Questions about swapping sims in and out.

Just moved over to T-Mobile from Sprint. With Sprint, you always had to manually switch phones over either online or over the phone if you wanted to assign a new phone to an existing number, I was curious if the following was possible with T-Mobile since I am not that familiar with phones that are strictly sim based.

I have the One plan with three phone lines and one tablet line to make up the four lines. On my personal line, I currently have a V20. I also have an old 6P laying around that I can use as well. If I run out of battery on the V20 and want to use the 6P, can I just move over the sim card to the 6P and start using it? If so, is there any negative to doing this? (For example would it mess up the billing, cause activation fees or have a limit to the number of times that I can transfer the sim?)

Same type of question on the line that is on the tablet. I have T-Mobile versions of both an iPad and a Tab S2. Can I switch the sim out depending on which tablet I want to use for the day or is it tied to the one that it started with.

I know these may come across as newb type questions, but I had been with Sprint for so long before switching over that these types of situations never came up.

I appreciate any help that could be provided. Thanks !

Yes, you can swap the sims between the tablets and also swap the sims between the phones. I do it all the time. The only limit with the tablet may be if you have the 200MB free that they give you per month. If you have that included on the tablet sim, it will be tied to the tablet that the sim was activated on. You can get around that by having T-Mobile cancel the free 200MB on the sim card. Once that is done, you can swap to any tablet.

Thanks! I was hoping that was the case. It just seemed too convenient after coming from Sprint.
It's that easy. Swap sims all you want. I have four lines and eight phones that I swap sims between.

I once had six lines to try and avoid swapping sims so much but I was starting to worry about my sanity having so many lines just for myself.

Totally of the topic but 4 lines and 8 phones? Thats one very heavy purse. :)
