Moving my Gear S2 to a new phone-how to find my old watchfaces?

Figure I'd ask that before setting everything up. Is there a way to just move the old watch faces from my old phone to the new(Note 4 to Note 8), or are they saved on the Gear S2 itself?

I believe the watch faces are saved in your watch but are accessed through your Samsung account for updates and reassisgnment. You would have to set the new phone up on that account to gain acess to the previous watch faces. Addionally I have had of instances where newer andriod versions were not backwards compatible with older watch faces and previous versions of tizen
