Moving Pictures from S5 to G3

Well you think it would be an easy task, right? Plug in both phones and move the pictures from the S5 card to the G3 card, tried that and it successfully copies but all the pics on the G3 won't load, just has a triangle shape with an exclamation over it. Formatted the card in G3, removed it and put it in a USB 3 card reader, then moved the pictures from the S5 card to the card reader and same thing. Even put the S5 card into the G3 and all the pictures are there, moved pictures to the internal memory of the G3 and can view about half. The other half never load.

Do you have a computer? Can you use that as an intermediary? That is, download all of the photos to your computer (which is a good idea as a backup, anyway), then copy those photos either directly to the G3 via USB, or to the G3's microSD card that has been inserted into the computer's card reader.
