Id like to move screenshots of which i have hundreds into several albums. I have a Note 8. I have googled but caannot find how to start from the snapshot and then move to the album. When i try to do it starting with the album and then going to screenshots to select which one i want to move, the screenshot images are too small to tell what they are, making it impossible to choose whicj album to move it to.

Welcome to Android Central! Use a file manager app (like the preinstalled My Files, Google's Files Go, or the free and ad-free Total Commander) to copy the screenshot files from the /Pictures/Screenshots directory to the album directory you want. You can also connect the phone to your computer via USB and use Windows Explorer -- just make sure that when you connect, swipe down the notification panel, tap the USB icon, then select MTP (or File Transfer).

Try Cx File Explorer. Go to your screenshots, tap the box next to each one you want to move, choose Copy at the bottom (never Move files - if the move goes bad in the middle, you could lose the file), go to the folder you want (albums are just the last name in a string of folders, so if you have pictures in DCIM/2018/Christmas, the album they show in is Christmas) and past (at the bottom). When that's all done, look at them to make sure you got good copies, If they are, do the next album, etc. When you're all done, go back to the folder the screenshots are in, mark them all and delete.
