MP3 Tags - Which Format

Ok..so the "Music" app (not my music) is what I'm using. I've loaded a bunch of mp3's on the Razr..and they show up with album artwork and all...but..there are several that will not sort with the rest of the same album...it says "Unknown Album" even though all the mp3 tags are the same. I've used MP3Tag to rewrite all the tags...but it still says 'unknown album'

Anyone seen this? any fix?

If you mean Google music then login from your computer and pull up the songs with unknown albums and change them manually. It should pull them into the correct album then transfer over when you sync your phone.

No..I don't mean Google Music. I drag-n-drop music from my pc to the Razr. All tags are updated with MP3Tag before copying. I use the "Music" app (looks like a pair of headphones) to listen to the mp3...

What do you use to play them on your pc? I know with Windows Media Player or iTunes you can edit album info from within. Not sure if you can edit them once they are on your phone.

I can edit them just fine. And they play just fine. It's just that the player does not recognize the info in the tag.

I have completely deleted the tag - not just delete the information in the tag - and recreated it..and still..the player does not recognize the all the correct data.

I'm going to try a new player...

If you mean Google music....

Wow..I didn't know the music player that was the headphones icon was Google Music...my apologies...
