That's only about 15 degrees warmer than body temperature. I would say that's acceptable for intensive graphics.
 
Coverted C to F and that is 113 deg which is not bad.
If it gets around 125 deg F (52 deg C), that can be a problem.
Playing games with higher graphics is the reason.
Monitor it and stop if it gets too hot.

Anything over 120°F can screw up your battery. I used my old Evo 4G as a GPS unit on a road trip, and it got to a point where the battery was at 135° F. The heat basically destroyed the battery, the only good thing was it was removable. So def keep an eye on it.
