I've downloaded the file and when I go to bootloader it says checking file then nothing happens. Suggestions?

Try adding another.zip to the end.Dropped directly on sd, not in any folders. The name I see is PG05IMG.

So if I'm rooted with a custom rom, bamf 1.7, and I want MR2 I need to flash a new rom, lose all my data and get the new radio?
that sucks I hate losing everything I have set up. Is there any other way, I need the reboots to stop
I'm trying to rule out any possible issues that you may be having. Where did you download the update from? I've attached a link to the website I used to download the MR2 update and even used the instructions provided. Also, please remember to use the Multi-Upload (Direct Link, top option) to download the file. I would assume each download is identical, but I'm only telling you this as I used the top option.
The file says to use an extension type of .zip. We've already had this discussion before and you've said that it's all fine on that end. But, try naming it with a .zip if you haven't. You could always change the settings on Windows [which version do you have?] to show file extensions. Once you move it to the SD Card, you should just be in the main root screen. I do believe you may have to click a button once it loads the update to confirm you want this action to happen. I could be incorrect, but I could of sworn that I had to confirm the action.

went a completely different route, rooted and installed CM7. More exploration to come! Thanks y'all! On that specific download, you don't need to add .zip. It's already a .zip file.
