I saw a post linking to it earlier, and then it was removed. Does this mean a release is about to happen? What is going on?

idk, its a secret spy cover up or something. apparently even speaking about it on xda-developers will warrant your tongue being cut out or something

Apparently it was leaked before it was supposed to be. I must have just missed it too cause I cant find it anywhere now...doh

figured there would be more talk about this here. from what i have read, it runs alot better then the previous version that came out.

Yeah, I am surprised. There are quite a people passing it back and forth on XDA in PM's. I already had two people offer to give it to me. They were a bit more cavalier than I had expected. I don't understand the freak out over it though.

It was released without the ok to do so. Adrynalyne and jcase had that exact version for a while just to test but couldn't release it. It ended up on rootzwiki and needless to say it all went dowhill from there. And for those that don't see the issue, where do you think the gingerbread or mr1 leaks came from? With no trust, they're much less likely to leak things out. Is it an improvement? Sure. Is it some ground breaking thing that people should throw a fit over for getting left out? No.

I was able to snag it before it was taken down but havent tried it out yet. Thought it was taken down because of bugs or bricked tb's. Think ill try it out though.

It's pretty amazing how well connected some of those devs are. It's almost as if Android were open source or something!

Thanks, Robrecht

I would play victim to testing if someone send's it my way. I am still running 1.12.605.6 without reboots

Guys it was taken down was not supposed to be released, devs are pretty pissed over at xda.

Does anyone have the MD5 on the radio? I have a version, but want to make sure it is the right version!

so does anyone have it and is sharing it? looks like its not taboo to speak about it here so why not spread the love.. lol

You mean there is some kind of protocol for approved leaks? :)

Yes in the Dev communitity there actually is, who ever his "leak" is will have his "fingerprints" all over the leak, the devs get it clean it up, and remove anyway to tell where it came from. You start releasing things early which could potentially get the leak in trouble or even fired, that is no bueno for all of us, leaks will stop leaking and the devs will have nothing to work with, therefore will have nothing to product for us, the well dries up so to speak, so to answer your question yes there is a very specific protocol!

Open source must not mean open radio source LOL

Not a good idea to be spreading it around, potentially exposing the "leak" that helps this community....not to mention you do not want to be on the S#*T list of jcase and his fellow devs...just have some patience it will prob be out soon!
