MTP File Transfers

I know how transfer files from Windows 7 laptop to HTC via MTP. It is really fast, even though where files end up on my HTC can be a mystery.

How do I send files from HTC to laptop? I don't see anything MTP-related in SHARE on my HTC and end up using Bluetooth which is very slow. !!! THANKS !!!

I usually use AirDroid to transfer stuff from my phone to my laptop. It's pretty quick and works over wifi so you don't have to connect the phone.

RESOLVED: I am embarrassed at how easy HTC-to-laptop transfers are via USB. With cable attached + MTP enabled, just click or double click:

"My Computer" on laptop
"HTC One M9" under "Portable Devices"
"Internal storage" or "SD card"
select files or folders to be transferred
"EDIT" from menu bar at top of screen
"Copy to folder" -or- "Move to folder"

A window will open, and just select where files from HTC should be transferred to on laptop.

Lots of steps, but I have lousy wireless connectivity and prefer USB.

Since the HTC screen is so small, I also like accessing HTC files from my laptop with MS Office, Acrobat or other laptop application and view / edit / print (not perfectly but good enough). I am not a fan of MS Office Android apps.

This is my first and probably last smartphone ... and it has become my "pocket" laptop, my favorite toy!
