Mugen Extended Battery

I contacted Mugenbattery.com and got a response. They are contacting the manufacturer to see if the batteries are in development. I'll let you all know when I hear something.

I asked about the OEM size and super-extended...

Here is what I asked, and what they sent me back....

My E-mail to them:

Hi there. I am inquiring about an extended battery for the Motorola Droid X. Do you currently have one under development, and if so, will you be offering both a OEM size battery and a super-extended battery with a new battery door?
I like your batteries. Had the extended OEM for my Storm2 and it worked great.
Let me know. Thanks.

The Response:

The batteries for Droid X are currently under the devolvement. I was told that the batteries should be available at the end of this month. There is no information about the capacity of the batteries, but I think there would be two types of batteries available for Droid X ? the standard size battery and the extended one that will require a custom battery door.

I will let you know as soon as I have more information about the batteries.

Finally, the Mugen extended battery is now available. Note it is only the 1800mah, which will fit in the stock door.

I had a Mugen for my S2, and I loved that thing. It has been my experience that Sedio extended batteries do not last as long as the Mugen brand. Enjoy.
