What music app are you using? Unlike the Note 10.1, the samsung stock music app doesn't show up as a multiview app.

Seriously dude, I love Samsung and their nack for innovation but the lack of app support, even for native Google Apps like Google Music, is beyond me.

I understand it's not Google offering multi Window, it's Samsung, but why is the app support so few, far, and in between?

And I'm not a developer, so if I sounded like a pissed off teenager on My Super Sweet 16, then I apologize because I don't understand things like this fully.

Because the developer has to put in the code to make it compatible. It's not Samsung's fault, it's Google's. I don't think Google is a fan of multi window judging from how they didn't even want Cornerstone in ROMs. I have my Note 8 hacked to let any app run in multi window and most work fine, but when stock, apps that don't show themselves compatible cannot be used because Samsung doesn't want people to have a bad experience.

If you root your S4, you just need to download this app https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...jbinc.multiwindowmanager&hl=en&token=iA6EOtfA , and you can add or remove the apps you want to the Multi-View option.
