Multiple email accounts

I have several email accounts. One is specifically with yahoo to sync my google calendar, which I always want synched. Another one is my main account; I get so much email (hundreds each day) that most of the time I do not want to receive messages from that account. However, OCCASIONALLY I want the ability to send or receive email. Is there an easy way to turn on/off the account? or not forward/sync mail for that specific email account?

Email>Settings

in accounts there will be a sync and unsync (on / off) you will have to turn the account on to send from it.

another thing you can do is authorize your gmail account to send from the other address so its as if you were sending from your "main acct"
