Hey all:

I'm looking for something that I can use to display two seperate widgets on my homescreen for two seperate gmail accounts. I already put both accounts into "accounts," and can access both from the gmail app. I would like to be able to go directly to the inbox that has new mail.

When you add a shortcut add a lable then choose which email addy you want it for then select inbox. Viola

I downloaded "Gmail unread count" app. Free in the market. Lets you put essentially a shortcut icon on your homepage for each gmail account. I haven't figured out how to actually label the icon, but have a red one for one account and a blue one for another account. I especially like it because it displays the number of unread emails in each account as part of the icon. One caveat: it works great most of the time, but occasionally it opens the wrong account - not sure why and I haven't seen it happen often. Worth trying for sure...
Let me know if you figure out how to label it...

To set custom names for the Gmail Unread Count Widget - I think you might need to set style to "native icon", then, check "show icon label" and then right under that is "Icon label"
