Android Central Question

Okay so I have a weird issue with Android auto.

Anytime I disconnect my USB cable from Android auto connection on my Kenwood radio. Or whenever using wireless Bluetooth with my Kenwood radio.. I always get multiple random notification sounds constantly.

Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this issue?

I have already tried the following:
uninstalling and reinstalling Android auto.

Upgrade firmware on Kenwood radio

only thing I have not done that I really don't want to do is do.. is a complete factory reset on my phone.

Are they notifications that would have sounded had the USB not been plugged in? What is your USB set to default?

Duplicate threads merged.

Does it go away if you turn off NFC?

This isn't your one charm USB disconnection sound.

when I disconnect it I was here around 10 to 20 different notification sounds go off at once. Like do not disturb was on but wasn't on. So all done notifications that were blocked, then would sound afterwards.

But like I said do Not disturb but never activated. So Leaves me scratching my head.

and I'm curious where exactly do you mean what is my USB set on ?

I think methodman89 is asking if your USB is defaulting to Charge Only, MTP (File Transfer), or something else. If you don't see the option for this in the main system settings, it might be in Developer Options (or the phone just might not have it as an option to set default for).

USB Configuration is currently set on "Audio Source"

Would there be a better option to have selected that might prevent all these notifications sounds whenever the Android auto is stopped via USB or Bluetooth? and

Is that the default, or does it only switch to Audio Source when you start Android Auto? See what happens if you change it temporarily to Charge Only, and then plug it back in to use Android Auto.

Back to the drawing board I still have the random notifications sounding after wireless Bluetooth is disconnected from Android auto or USB wire
