Multitasking - my experience and a possible fix

There are a couple of guys over on AndroidForums working this exact issue using ROM Toolbox memory manager settings, among other tweaks, to try to clean up Sense's multitasking.
Check out this thread at AndroidForums for reference. They start talking memory manager settings on the second page but the whole thread is worth the read.

Thanks, that is an excellent thread. I will be watching it closely to see what kind of results they are getting. I lowered my VM heapsize from 128 MB to 96 MB and immediately noticed a coresponding jump in free memory which means more wiggle room for apps to multitask. I am considering lowering the value further once I do a little more research.

Let HTC know how you feel!

Having a Facebook & Twitter page is great but you need to keep them active! Post 2-3 times a week @AppPromo #TipTuesday -- HTCdev (@htcdev)

I used the suggested settings and BOOM one of my business apps that reloads after exists was right where I left it when I re entered it. I will use the toolbox and adjust some more and work my phone out hard today ... If everything goes well, the hell with trading in my LTE for the S III. THANKS OP

EDIT: Nope ... Still having the same refresh/reload issues after leaving the apps ... Dammit!!
