Music and Hangouts Calls

When I'm listening to music, either through Bluetooth or the phone's speakers (haven't tested this with headphones), and I get a Google Voice call through Hangouts, the music will pause while the phone rings, but a second or two after I answer the call, the music will start playing again. It's much quieter and awful quality, but still loud enough for the other person to hear and drown out their voice.

I'll answer the phone and start talking, then the music starts playing again and I have to tell that person to hold on a second while I pull the phone away from my face to pause the music. It's extremely annoying and it's never happened on any other Android device I own. Anyone else with this problem and maybe a solution?

I've had this happen before as well, but only via bluetooth. I haven't found anything that fixes the issue.

I use hangouts alot. And never had this problem

I guess that's probably a good thing. If it happens with the normal dialer as well, that gives me more hope that it'll be fixed, and soon.
